Ingredients

all-purpose flour

tablespoons
granulated sugar

tablespoon
baking powder

teaspoon
kosher salt

beer
(preferably dark beer)
1/2
cup
canned pumpkin

tablespoons
fresh sage
, roughly chopped or torn (or sub 1/2 teaspoon dry sage)

cheddar cheese
, shredded

butter
, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in the beer, pumpkin, sage, and cheese.
Spoon batter into a greased 5 x 9 loaf pan.
Pour melted butter over the top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until top is golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
