Almond Butter Energy Bites
These naturally sweet Almond Butter Energy Bites will certainly satisfy your sweet tooth. They make a perfectly healthy after school snack for my kids and a guilt free afternoon bite for me that energizes me to keep going.

Ingredients

cup
almond butter
1/3
cup
honey
1
tablespoon
unsweetened cocoa powder
1
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1/8
teaspoon
salt
1/3
cup
pitted Medjool dates,
chopped
1/4
cup
raw sunflower seeds
1/3
cup
raw sesame seeds,
for rolling
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix the almond butter, honey, cocoa powder, cinnamon and salt together. Stir in the dates and sunflower seeds.
Take a heaping tablespoon of the mixture and form it into a ball in your hands. Roll the balls in the sesame seeds to coat.
Although they can be enjoyed right away, they are better when they've had the chance to firm up in the refrigerator.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
