Caponata, a wonderful dish from southern Italy made with a lovely assortment of fresh vegetables, including eggplant. Serve warm or cold, Caponata is perfect as a salad or an appetizer.
When we decided to come to Walt Disney World for our anniversary trip we knew that we wanted to spend time together and not focus on “doing” the parks. We have taken many trips with our family and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit, being there from the rope drop to being some of the last people to leave the park. This time we booked a couple of restaurants in advanced to make sure we get in, but other than that we did not have a real plan.
Starting off at the Boardwalk Resort we walked over to the French Pavilion which is a favorite of ours with the great food and wine selection. We picked up a Turkey and Brie baguette at the Boulangerie Patisserie shop and then walked across the alley to La Maison du Vin and picked up two glasses of Sauvion Vouvray 2010 wine (great white wine from the Loire Valley in France).
