These spiced pecans are so easy to make.  They make perfect holiday gifts for teachers or neighbors.  They aren’t full of sugar, so I like to leave a bowl on the counter to munch on.

Pumpkin Spiced Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves
  • pinch allspice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups pecan , halves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the honey, maple syrup and the spices and stir until smooth, about 3 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
  • Pour in the pecans and mix very well.
  • Transfer the pecans to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  • Place the tray in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
